Loharinagpala hydropower project starts from Songad river is located on the river Bhagirathi in Uttarkashi district of Uttarkhand. Loharinagpala is a weir type of dam. The height and length of the dam are 15 m and 115 m respectively. The total capacity of the dam is 190,320 cubic meters. The output capacity of the dam is 600 MW i.e (150 MW ×40).
